PNG – Provision of cervical cancer unit in the central highlands

100.0% of $10,500 funded

Cervical cancer is the number one cancer among females in Papua New Guinea. The project will provide gynacological screening and treatment which has not previously been available in and around the Aiyura valley of PNG, using existing staff at the SIL clinic at Ukarumpa. We expect to see a 50 percent reduction of cervical cancer in local women within the first three years of the project.

This project is now fully funded. Thanks for your generous donations.
